The MPC is now a partner of the REMINDER project on understanding free movement in Europe. The project combines expertise from a wide range of different disciplines (including economics, politics, linguistics, media studies, and public policy) to generate a deeper understanding of the determinants, effects, public debates and regulation of intra-EU mobility.
The project has published a major cross-country study on the “The fiscal effects of intro-EEA mobility” finding that EU migrants generate net-fiscale benefits in most but not all EEA countries.
