Migration Working Group and Seminars
To foster exchange on the latest migration research, the Migration Police Centre hosts both the Migration Working Group and Migration Policy Seminar series. Whilst established scholars participate in both events, the focus of this year’s Migration Working Group is to give early career scholars and PhD students the opportunity to present their research.
Topics discussed in the seminar series overlap with the Migration Policy Centre (MPC)’s key research areas which are:
· Public attitudes to migration and migration policies
· Labour markets, welfare states, and migration policies
· Migration, foreign aid, and development
· Migration governance (including migration narratives)
· Border enforcement, migration controls, and mobility practices
· Linking research, debates, and policies
For an overview of the next Migration Working Group sessions, check out the full program for the first part of this year’. For any more information regarding Migration Working Group, please visit MWG's page on EUI website.
