The Migration Policy Centre has the pleasure to announce the publication of the Special Issue of the Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science on “Migrant Smuggling as a Collective Strategy and Insurance Policy: Views from the Margins”. Join us at the EUI in Florence on 21 March 2018 for a conversation with some of the contributors to the special issue that will explore on migrants’ journeys, the increasing criminalization of those who facilitate them, and what together they mean for the future of migration policy and enforcement worldwide. A policy event in Brussels will also be organised on 24 April 2018 in light of the release of the Special issue.
